Position: Residential Construction Worker

Employee will be paid weekly by check or direct deposit.

After a 90 day probationary period the employee will be eligible for paid Holiday pay. We have 6 paid holiday days.

Job Summary:

NJK Home Remodeling is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Worker with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the construction industry. As a Residential Construction Worker, you will be responsible for executing various tasks related to home construction projects. Your expertise in construction techniques, knowledge of building codes, and ability to work as part of a team will be crucial for the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of construction tasks including, but not limited to, framing, roofing, drywall installation, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Preparing job sites.
• Ability to work on supervised to very limited supervised projects and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
• Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
• Conduct quality inspections to identify and resolve any construction-related issues or deficiencies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to established safety protocols.
• Adhere to project budgets, deadlines, and productivity targets to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Residential Construction Worker, with a proven track record of successfully completing residential construction projects.
• Proficient in various construction techniques, including framing, roofing, drywall installation, flooring, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings with specifications accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Strong work ethic.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
